Sussana & Prafull

"Sometimes you meet a person and you just click—you’re comfortable with them, like you’ve known them your whole life, and you don’t have to pretend to be anyone or anything."

Software engineers by profession, Prafull and Susana met each other during their Masters course in 2011 at the Syracuse University, USA. And as all lovely things planned by God, they did tread the path from being classmates to best friends to lovers very easily.

Prafull reached out to me early this year to plan the shoot. However, like all coming from the US, they too were on a tight schedule and was doubtful if they could manage to squeeze time for this between the wedding preps and customary visits to relatives. Thanks to technology of our times, we had the whole thing planned well in advance, even before they came to India and were set to go.

We chose Bandstand, by adjusting around their visits to relatives as newly weds. Thank fully Mumbai was in its full monsoon glory and we managed to capture some lovely time together. Here are some of my favourites from the first monsoon pre-wedding shoot of 2015, hope you guys like it!
