Ketki & Dheeraj

“To Travel is To Live” and our couple Ketki Ahuja and Dhiraj Nichani follow this rule to the T.

Dhiraj came across my work done for a friend of his, and approached me for his engagement and pre-wedding shoot in Feb 2015. Being avid travelers, they wanted to have their pre-wedding shoot done during one of their trips to the Konkan together, as it covers two of their favourite spots – Forts and Beaches. However, due to the paucity of time and the chaos of their upcoming wedding preparations, we had to think of a Plan B, and that is when I proposed shooting a li'l outskirts of Mumbai. I must say there was a bit of hesitation in Ketki’s mind to settle with this location near Mumbai, coz there isn’t anything that can beat the beauty of Konkan and its serenity. But finally they did believe in me and my vision.

The Vasai Fort and Suruchi Beach gave us the perfect setting for the shoot and definitely blew Ketki and Dhiraj’s mind away. From discovering the ruins to cycling on borrowed cycles (from local kids) to horse riding to getting dirty rolling on beach, I wanted to capture their free-spirit and love for discovering new places together & nature just helped us create beautiful frames which will serve as memories for years to come.

A huge Thank You to Ketki & Dhiraj for trusting me, giving me complete freedom and playing along with the vision I had for their pre-wedding shoot. Here are a few of my favourites from the awesome time we had.
